Mariano Torres Garcia

Mariano Torres Garcia has a degree in Business Administration from the School of Economic Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires.
He is a specialist in guided tunneling equipment, identification of underground interferences, and georadars.
He is dedicated to this specialty since 1977 and has developed all his activity in several Latin American countries.
He also has worked for several Non-Profit institutions:
He is a current Director of Fundacion Manos del Sur and served as a Member of the Board of Directors of Cooperativa de Fatima (COSEFA) (1998/1999) and the Golf Sub-Commission of the University Club of Buenos Aires (1998/1999).
He was a Founding member of the Argentine Association of Golf Course Superintendents (1994) and President of the Key Biscayne Rugby Rats (2009/2015)
His father, Gabriel Torres Garcia, was a former officer of the Argentine Air Force and Chief of the Ezeiza International Airport (Buenos Aires) at the time of the TC-48 accident.
He had the sad task of containing the relatives of the missing cadets who went to the Airport for months to be informed about the latest news of the search operation carried out by the US Air Force.
