Guillermo was born in Argentina and has lived in Miami since 2002. He has a degree in Accounting from the National University of Cuyo in Argentina.

He was a City Council for the City of Mendoza and Assistant Professor of Public Finance I at the School of Economics (UNC). 

In the private sector, he was CEO of Gas del Sur S.A., an energy corporation in Argentina.

He was also Director of Distrocuyo (Electricite de France), Director of Energy Mendoza, Consultant of FUEL Outdoor, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, and of the UNDP (United Nations Development Programme).

Since 2000, he has led the start-up of Publicidad Sarmiento’s subsidiaries in the United States and Latin America, including Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, and the Dominican Republic.
